ONSITE REPAIR
Sechrist offers a range of choices and price points to meet your chamber repair needs, including:

Standard repair time – For repairs that are necessary but can be managed until a Sechrist technician is in the facility area.

Rush repair – Based on the urgency of the situation, a Sechrist technician will be deployed to the site as quickly as possible.

Expedited repair – For urgent situations, a Sechrist technician will be onsite within 48 work hours.
PVHO-2 MAINTENANCE FOR HYPERBARIC CHAMBERS
PVHO-2-2019 is a standard that provides technical requirements and guidelines for the operation and maintenance of Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy (PVHO) systems that were designed, constructed, tested, and certified in accordance with ASME PVHO-1-2019, Safety Standard for Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy (PVHO).
This standard also provides technical criteria for the user to establish the serviceability of a PVHO acrylic widow under its specific environmental requirements.
PVHO-2-2019 also provides information regarding the Design Life and Service Life of your acrylic cylinder and guidelines on inspections that can be done to extend the Service Life.
The service Life of the acrylic cylinder may be extended beyond the design life (10 years, 10,000 cycles or 40,000 hours) up to an additional 10 years or 10,000 cycles as long as 10 Year Life Extension Viewport Inspection is completed on or before the end of the design life (10 years or 10,000 cycles) and cylinder MVIs are completed at regularly suggested intervals (every 18-24 months)
The standard lists two levels of inspections; Operational Viewport Inspection (OVI) and Maintenance Viewport Inspection (MVI).
OVI requires viewports to be visually inspected prior to the first pressurization if pressurized more than once per day.
MVI shall be performed at every 24 to 36 months for windows less than design life and 18 to 24 months for windows greater than design life. (The design life of cylindrical windows pressurized internally is 10 years and MVI is required to extend service life for an additional 10 years.)
Sechrist now offers PVHO-2 Ten (10) Year Life Extension Viewport Inspection and Maintenance Viewport Inspection (MVI)
Ten (10) Year Life Extension Viewport Inspection – includes complete mapping and documentation of cylinder as well as inspection of seat and seal; includes repair and refinishing of scratches.
Maintenance Viewport Inspection (MVI) – includes repair and refinishing of scratches on acrylic cylinder. The objective is to examine viewport components, document signs of damage or deterioration

CHAMBER TUNE-UPS - MODELS 3200/R, 3300E/ER, 3600E/ER, ALL H MODEL CHAMBERS
Sechrist Hyperbaric Chambers are known as the gold standard in the industry. To ensure that your equipment is in optimal condition for the life of the chamber, Sechrist is offering a 10-yr Tune-up for all Sechrist Hyperbaric Chamber models when they reach either 10 years from the date of manufacture or have reached 10,000 cycles, whichever comes first.
Chamber Tune-Ups Include:

Thorough hand-cleaning & refurbishment of each individual component. If damaged, the part will be replaced with a new part.

Installation of new 3-way valve.

Includes Annual Preventative Maintenance service, parts & testing.

Acrylic Cylinder Design Life Extension
• At the time of the 10-Year Tune Up Sechrist will conduct a PVHO-2 Ten-Year Life Extension Viewport Inspection of the acrylic cylinder.
• After the Life Extension Viewport Inspection, Sechrist offers Maintenance Viewport Inspections (MVIs) which can extend the Service Life up to 20 years or 20,000 cycles from date of manufacture (MVI should be conducted every two years).
